We Arrived in Shanghai on Friday after riding the fast train it was nice cause it was only three hours and a pretty luxurious train ... that is for china. well this is our hostel, SO RANDOM!! its in this alley way and for a second i thought i was in Disneyland haaa! it was the most perfect hostel though right on the Bund we could walk most of the places we wanted to go, it was the cheapest hostel in Shanghai, and it was clean and nice :) that made for some happy campers. Well we were off into the city! we went shopping and were searching for Nanjing Rd. in the mean time... well turns out we were going the opposite way but don't worry Amy and I found barber shop and decided it would be a good idea to do something fun with our hair while we were in shanghai... so we told the barber to do something Drastic, and we had quite the suprise!!!!

Ok it wasn't my idea i promise mom!.... ok ok they are wigs :) but they look pretty freaking awesome don't they!We went to some really fun gardens, i guess i should have taken pictures of the cool plants but i thought this one was pretty coo!
Western Food!!!!!! After being in China a week i already missed pizza, i went from eating it everyday to non at all.... well i guess we did have some at that "American Buffet" It was pizza with no marinara sauce and fried bananas and pine apple... i was very surprised how good it was, i mean tasted nothing like pizza but it was great!!
Well we finally found our way to Nanjing Rd. 1.7 Million people visit this street a day WOW!!!! it was pretty busy. someone from our hostel had her wallet stolen on Nanjing Rd. how sad but everything worked out for her... like things usually do! That has been our motto this trip "Everything always works out" and really it always does! every train i have ever taken In Ukraine and China i have almost missed but we always get there.

This is one of the many clubs we visited on my birthday!

Steph you look like you're enjoying it! isn't your time like almost half way done? maybe not. When do you come back? right before Christmas?
Your friend Abbey from high school is of course in all my classes...since we're the same major...and she always asks about you and it's fun to give her the updates.
HOpefully your cook (do you have one?) doesn't try to make pizza like with Cortney..... pie crust, ketchup and Kraft singles....eww!
