Well Our first vacation went really well, this is at the yellow mountains which is about a 5 hour bus ride from Hefei. My new group starting from the left is Chelsie, Emily, Me, Tanna, Claire, Nick, Amy, Jay, and Tom who is just visiting Claire (her Brother) Tom is fluent in Chinese which was really convenient! the mountain was 18 miles of granite stairs which i don't know if you have climbed that many stairs but its quite a butt buster. Everyone but Emily, Amy and took the chair lift up however we decided to hike up and take the chair lift down for four of the miles we figured we could save our knees :) i think we took the best rout! we found our first semi white people being in china ... well they are from Israel. they were the nicest people i have ever met so we hike the whole mountain with them :) turns out they are living in china for 2 years and they don't live to far from us. That night us three girls went out to dinner and they treated us ... so we decided one of these week ends we are going to Head over to Suzhou to where they live and repay them. Anyways the mountains are named the yellow mountains after a poem someone i have no idea who wrote. The hike was for sure the most beautiful hike i have ever done i wish all my friends and family could experience it!
