Halloween

Since The Chinese don't celebrate Halloween we had to work with what we had in the supply closet. As you can see everyone did really well. I'm not quite sure what i was but something between a devil and a vampire. Everybodys reaction to our costumes were really funny. the kids freaked out and came up to us yelling "TRICK OR TREAT" obviously previous teachers gave them candy and now they understand the concept of Halloween. After we went downtown because it was also Em's birthday we went to Dairy Queen .... Emily and her ice cream... cant get enough! As we walked down walking street we couldn't stop because if we did we would get a swarm of people around us starring and taking pictures, and everyone would want one with us. We took a couple bags of candy to hand out to kids on the street, made it a little more like Halloween for us.

Tara!!! isn't she just the cutest little Chinese girl .... do you think she can fit in my luggage? she is a first grader and i have just grown so attached to them. I will start teaching 2nd grade because Tanna had to go home (moment of silence for our Tanna). I am really excited to being teaching again however, i will miss the first graders so much!!First Graders
